The Komen Orange County Affiliate is proud to announce the availability of community grant funds for Fiscal Year 2010. Projects that specifically address the Statement of Need in the LOI application will be given priority. Our 2010 grant cycle runs from January 1st, 2010 through December 31, 2010. All requests for science research funding should be directed to the Komen National Award and Research Grant Program at www.komen.org
Letter of Intent (LOI) applications are now being accepted for projects that improve access to breast health screening, diagnostic, treatment and support services in Orange County. We anticipate funding 15-20 grant projects for the 2010 grant cycle.
Effective this year, the Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® has adopted a two stage process for grant applications. The process begins with the completion of the LOI application. This step in the process is mandatory in order to be eligible for community grant funding.
