More than $1 million in Grants in 2008

The Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure awarded over $1 million to local nonprofit organizations, Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at the first annual Community Grants Award Breakfast. The nonprofit community groups will use the grants to implement breast health initiatives and programs throughout Orange County, all in a collective effort to end breast cancer.
