The Komen Mission:
To eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening, and treatment.

The Third Annual Links to the Cure™ a Swinging Success!!!

On Monday, May 5 over 110 golfers came to Coyote Hills Golf Course to help raise funds for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, including former Ducks goalie Guy Hebert. It was a wonderful day full of laughter and camaraderie, including golf contests, t-shirt giveaways and a special "Margarita Hole" in honor of Cinco de Mayo. Crevier BMW generously provided a new Z-4 roadster as a hole-in-one car, which to the disappointment of many nobody won.

The day netted out $35,000 towards our mission of eradicating breast cancer as a life threatening disease through the advancement of research, education, screening and treatment. In simple terms, we will be able to provide 350 mammograms or 35 surgical biopsies to women who are uninsured or underinsured. Additional funds were raised through the sale of Links Luxury Packages and "Pink Ribbon Mulligans." The five foot pink ribbon celebrates the statistic that the five year survival rate is 97% when cancer is detected early.
